A complete website revamp and SEO-safe content migration for one of Saudi Arabia’s leading IT services companies, delivered as a bilingual digital experience that matches the scale and ambition of the brand.
Global Business Solutions Co. Ltd. (GBS) is a leading Saudi IT services and system integration company. Over two decades, GBS has grown into a trusted national technology partner, delivering digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and IT infrastructure solutions to enterprises and government organisations across the Kingdom.
GBS came to Sweans for a full digital overhaul: a revamped website that repositioned the brand, preserved earned SEO value, and gave shape to services that lacked an online presence. All delivered in both English and Arabic.
The project covered brand repositioning, technical development, content strategy and SEO preservation together.
Key objectives included:
Redesigning the website from the ground up to reflect GBS’s position as a premium Saudi IT and digital transformation partner
Migrating existing pages and content with full SEO continuity, preserving URL structures, metadata and search rankings where possible
Refining and shaping content for services and solutions that had no prior online presence
Building a fully functional bilingual experience, with RTL layout support for the Arabic version
Structuring the site to clearly present GBS’s four core pillars: AI and Automation, Cybersecurity and SOC, IT Infrastructure, and Cloud and Data Management
Carrying compliance-led messaging aligned with Saudi regulatory frameworks throughout the site
Before anything else, we conducted a thorough audit of the existing GBS website. We mapped every live URL, catalogued existing content, and identified which pages held meaningful SEO equity in terms of backlinks, indexed positions and organic traffic. That audit shaped the entire migration strategy, so nothing of value would be lost in the move.
We also worked closely with the GBS team to understand their business priorities, their target audiences, and the services they wanted to lead with, particularly newer offerings like their SOC operations and AI and Automation services that had not been properly covered online before.
The redesign gave GBS a bold, confident look in keeping with its standing as a leading Saudi technology company. A clean, structured layout guides visitors through GBS’s services with clarity, and the design language communicates authority and technical expertise throughout.
Every page was built to be fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile, which matters for an audience that moves between corporate environments and on-the-go access throughout the day.
Making sure the migration didn’t cost GBS its search presence was one of the most important parts of the project. GBS had years of organic rankings built up, and a careless move could have set that back significantly.
For pages being migrated from the old site, we retained URL slugs wherever the new architecture allowed, carried over and refined existing meta titles and descriptions, and set up 301 redirects for any URLs that needed to change. Each migrated page was also reviewed and improved editorially, sharpening the clarity and relevance of the content without stripping away the signals search engines had already associated with the domain.
For services and solutions that hadn’t yet had a proper online presence, Sweans worked with raw content shared by the GBS team and shaped it into clear, structured page content. The focus was on making it useful for both the people reading it and the search engines indexing it, without overcomplicating the process.
GBS serves a market that works across both English and Arabic, so the website was built to do the same. The site runs as a fully bilingual experience, with both language versions covering every page and RTL layout support in place for Arabic. Visitors can switch between languages seamlessly, and the experience holds up consistently on both sides.
The revamped GBS website now presents the company as it is: a modern, capable and compliance-ready technology leader at the centre of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation story.
Existing SEO value was carried through a careful, structured migration, with no significant ranking losses from the transition. Pages that previously existed but underperformed have been improved in structure and content quality, building a stronger foundation for organic growth going forward.
Refined content across new service and solution pages gives GBS a complete digital presence covering all of its core capabilities, including offerings like the SOC and AI Automation services that had no online home before this project.
